How much do I earn, and for how long?
You earn 20% of the net amount of every paid invoice from a customer you referred, for 12 months starting at their first paid invoice. On a monthly plan that is roughly twelve commissions; on an annual plan it is one commission on a year of revenue. The deal is the same either way.
When does the window start?
At the customer's first paid, non-zero invoice - not at signup. Someone who spends two months on a free trial before paying does not spend two months of your window on it.
How long does the referral link remember someone?
90 days. If they click your link and sign up any time in that window, they are credited to you. Attribution is locked to their account at signup and never changed afterwards, so a later click on somebody else's link cannot take them off you.
When can I withdraw?
Commissions are held for 45 days on monthly plans and 90 days on annual ones after the customer pays, which is the window in which most refunds happen. Once a commission clears the hold it becomes available, and you can request a payout any time your available balance is at least $100.
How am I paid?
By hand, in USD. You request a payout in your dashboard, we open a support ticket to agree the method, and we send it. There is no automatic transfer, and no card or bank detail is stored on our side.
What happens if a customer gets a refund?
The commission for that invoice is reversed and stops counting toward your balance. Commissions already paid to you are never silently deducted - if a refund or chargeback lands after a payout, we contact you first.
Can I refer myself?
No. Signing up under your own referral code creates no commission, and referrals that look like self-referrals are flagged for review before anything is paid.
Do I have to be a MagicWP customer?
No, though it helps your application - the affiliates who do best are the ones who can talk about the product from having used it.
